


















The soft padding of your bare feet on the concrete stairs was the only sign of your departure. I didn’t realise at the time that I would never see or hear you again.
I think of you often, but especially when I’m surrounded by nature. You are the gentle breeze rustling the long grass, the raindrops on the window and the peaceful, lapping waves on the shoreline. Knowing you has changed me and changed how I view the world around me. For that, I’m grateful.
